One particular niche the ducks have found themselves filling has been undertaking 3D anamorphic chalk drawings on behalf of some massive global companies including Allied Domecq, Vodafone, Coors Fine Light Beer, Save The Children, Disney, Tilda Rice, The Daily Mail, Tommy Hilfiger, Google, Shell and international work in Dubai.
The artists create the anamorphic illusions in chalk which are drawn using a special distortion in order to create an impression of three dimensions when seen from one particular view point. “We can make it look like the floor has either crumbled away or an object is flying in the sky”.
Creative Director Amanda Wakelin-Smith “There are very few artists in the World that have learnt this technique but when it’s done correctly, it’s amazing. It almost seems a shame that the chalk just fades away. It really is true performance art using the pavements as living canvases, bringing the gallery wall to the people.”
Fuzzy Duck Media are able to use up to five artists to complete drawings at two separate locations at any one time allowing us to undertake roadshows using this technique. We can guarantee that most images be completed within eight hours avoiding overnight security and added media space costs.
